Review of the event 2025
On May 10, 2025, Ansbach University of Applied Sciences celebrated its first Homecoming with over 250 guests – a new format that offers former students a platform to return, network and exchange ideas with their alma mater.
Following the Open house Day, the university welcomed its alumni, teaching staff, students and guests to the campus. After a champagne reception, University President Prof. Dr.-Ing. Sascha Mueller-Feuerstein opened the event.
The afternoon program also included a presentation by Severin Freund, former ski jumper and graduate of the International Management program.
In addition, guests were able to take guided tours of the new Building 66, create customizable homecoming cloth bags at the student council stand, purchase university merchandise, and meet old acquaintances or make new contacts over a meal together. A visit to the photo booth also provided lasting memories.
Many guests were delighted to see each other again on campus and to have the opportunity for personal exchange. The first Homecoming laid the foundation for a new tradition that will strengthen contact between alumni and the university in the long term.
A date for the next Homecoming has not yet been set – but will be announced as soon as possible.
We are already looking forward to the next Homecoming moments!
